Holiday Card Unveiling

This holiday season, the Flatiron/23rd Street Partnership takes a look back at a bustling scene from more than a century ago with Flatiron's gift to the city, a festive pop-up holiday card that celebrates one of New York City's most iconic intersections. The card will be on display throughout the holiday season at 23rd Street between Broadway and Fifth Avenue.

Holiday Tree & Gift Box Auction

9am-7pm

Want to have your home and hearth adorned with a tree or gift box customized by an A-list New Yorker?  Then mark your calendar and bring your checkbook to participate in this fabulous event for a good cause! If you're not able to attend, please follow us on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook and be sure to e-mail your bids to auction@flatironbid.org.

Trees and gift boxes to be auctioned will be provided by Martha Stewart Living at The Home Depot, Michael Aram, Ted Gibson, Union Square Hospitality Group, and the Flatiron/23rd Street Partnership.

Macmillan Story Time

Children of all ages will be delighted when children's authors from Macmillan Publishing read pages from their popular books! In conjunction with this event, Macmillan is donating 50,000 children's books to First Book, which will be distributed to children in need throughout the five boroughs.

Holiday Food Drive

11am-5pm

Help Flatiron fight hunger this holiday season! To kick-off our week-long fundraiser, we will be hosting a Food Drive in the Flatiron Plaza. Please stop by and be sure to bring non-perishable goods to donate! We will continue the giving online, where you can donate to our virtual food drive by visiting: www.foodbanknyc.org. Please help us reach our $1,500 goal!

Ugly Sweater Competition

10am-2pm

This is the place to showcase those humorously hideous sweaters! All are invited to strut their stuff on the catwalk for the chance to win the coveted grand prize – a weekend in the Flatiron District! The competition will begin at 10am and contestants will be pre-qualified throughout the morning. The main event will begin at 1pm and our top 5 ugly sweater contestants will do one last turn on the stage before the winner is decided by the crowd's applause. People's Improv Theater Performance

12pm & 1pm

Add some comedy to your lunch break by enjoying a free show by Flatiron's favorite comedians, The People's Improv Theater! They will be performing an Improv Musical, so consider this your warning – spontaneous fits of laughter may occur!  12pm & 1pm, performances will be 30 minutes.

TADA! Youth Theater Caroling

12pm & 1pm

Come enjoy a Sunday afternoon listening to the very talented TADA! Youth Theater! They will be singing a mixture of the classics and original carols for those in the district. 12pm & 1pm, performances will be 30 minutes.

Complimentary Gift Wrapping

12pm-4pm

You do the shopping and Flatiron will do the wrapping! Back by popular demand, the Partnership will be providing complimentary gift wrapping in the Flatiron Plaza for those who spend $25 or more on a gift from local Flatiron district retailers.
