Celebrate Flatiron Partnerships at 230 FIFTH: October 17th

Get your tickets now for Celebrate Flatiron Partnerships 2012, the BID's annual networking event that honors the Partnership's community efforts and members of this vibrant neighborhood. The October 17th event will take place from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at 230 FIFTH, the spectacular 27th Street Penthouse Lounge and Rooftop Garden with its stunning skyline view. Admission is $30 per person and includes top-shelf bar service and hors d'oeuvres.

Classic cocktails, a bar stock of more than 400 whiskeys, and live music make The Flatiron Room one of the great go-to destinations during a night in the district. The lounge's vintage decor includes century-old wood floorboards and wall sconces that give light to a dining menu, which features Scotch eggs, short ribs and shareable bites. The Flatiron Room also offers tasting classes for the novice and whiskey connoisseur.

Bar hours are from 5 p.m. to 2 a.m.

The Baruch Small Business Development Center and Field Center offer free workshops geared toward start-up and established businesses.  These non-credit year-round workshops are taught by field mentors who serve as faculty at Baruch College's Zicklin School of Business and other industry professionals.

October classes include: Starting and Running Your LLC;  Basic Principles of Marketing; Identifying Consumer Needs; Managing Your Company's Finances; and Presenting You and Your Businesses.
